What's one thing you’ve been avoiding because it’s outside your comfort zone?
Strategic Question:
What's one thing you’ve been avoiding because it’s outside your comfort zone?
Key Insights:
Ever notice how easy it is to stay where you are? It doesn’t happen all at once. It’s the “maybe later” on that big idea, the “I’m not ready” on that new opportunity, the “better safe than sorry” on taking a risk. Little by little, we build an invisible fence around ourselves. It feels safe, but is it really? Or is it just keeping us stuck?
The problem with staying in our comfort zone is that nothing grows there. Growth comes from trying, stretching, and occasionally failing. When we avoid discomfort, we also avoid progress. Our world stays small, our skills stay the same, and we wake up years later wondering why we feel unfulfilled.
Your Call to Action:
This week, I challenge you to identify that one thing outside your comfort zone and take a small but decisive step toward it.
Quote of the Week:
I want to be magic. I want to touch the heart of the world and make it smile. I want to be a friend of elves and live in a tree. Or under a hill. I want to marry a moonbeam and hear the stars sing. I don’t want to pretend at magic anymore. I want to be magic.
- Charles de Lint

What one thing have you been avoiding by staying 'busy' with less important things, and what's really holding you back?
Strategic Question:
What one thing have you been avoiding by staying 'busy' with less important things, and what's really holding you back?
Key Insights:
Our minds can be sneaky. They work hard to protect us from feeling uncomfortable without ever letting us know that's what they're doing. When we face important tasks that make us feel uncertain, afraid, or vulnerable, our subconscious quietly steers us toward easier activities instead.
The tricky part is that a lot of this avoidance happens without us even noticing it. We don't consciously think, "I'm too scared to work on this important project, so I'll organize my desk instead." It just happens.
Often, we only recognize these patterns when we step back and realize we haven't made any real progress on what truly matters.
Your Call to Action:
Think about something important that gives you a feeling of unease or reluctance whenever you consider starting it, despite knowing it needs to be done. Now, go do it.
Quote of the Week:
These are the good old days

What small change could you implement today that would positively alter your life’s trajectory?
Strategic Question:
What small change could you implement today that would positively alter your life’s trajectory?
Key Insights:
Our brains resist change, especially when it feels overwhelming. Big overhauls trigger stress, making them hard to sustain. But small shifts feel manageable, keeping our willpower intact and making consistency easier. And in the long run, consistency is what drives meaningful change—it’s not about intensity but steady, persistent effort.
Your Call to Action:
Do this to start building a transformative habit:
Identify the smallest, meaningful step you can take toward becoming your ideal self—something that feels almost too simple
Identify one consistent daily routine you never skip—like your morning coffee or brushing your teeth
Starting tomorrow, connect this new action directly before or after your established routine
Quote of the Week:
Dearly beloved. We are gathered here today to get through this thing called life.

What's one area of your life where you feel stuck?
Strategic Question:
What's one area of your life where you feel stuck?
Key Insights:
We often think feeling stuck is caused by external circumstances—a bad job, an unsupportive manager, limited opportunities, or a difficult relationship. But more often, the real obstacle isn’t the situation itself; it’s the mindset or unexamined patterns that keep us from moving forward. How we frame a challenge determines whether we see it as a roadblock or an opportunity. Shifting our perspective can unlock entirely new paths forward.
Your Call to Action:
One powerful way to shift perspective is to ask a reframing question that challenges how you’re viewing the situation. In the area where you feel stuck, ask yourself:
What is this situation teaching me about myself?
What would I tell a friend in my exact situation?
Quote of the Week:
You are unrepeatable. There is magic about you that is all your own.

What subtle shifts in your understanding of yourself have occurred over the last year?
Strategic Question:
What subtle shifts in your understanding of yourself have occurred over the last year?
Key Insights:
It's fascinating how life's unexpected moments shape us. While we're caught up in simply responding to what comes our way, we're also quietly growing through each experience. When we take time to look back and understand how these challenges have changed us, we unlock something powerful - a deeper understanding of ourselves that opens the door to meaningful personal growth.
Your Call to Action:
Growth isn't always loud. Take a moment and really think:
Are you the same person you were last year?
What's changed or shifted?
What do you hope to learn or gain this year?
Quote of the Week:
Each morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most.

What stories are you telling yourself, and who wrote them?
Strategic Question:
What stories are you telling yourself, and who wrote them?
Key Insights:
Our external interactions—conversations, media, social circles, culture, and even fleeting encounters—act as both a mirror and a mold for our internal beliefs. Over time, the messages we repeatedly hear shape how we see ourselves, what we believe, and how we interpret the world.
Have you ever paused to consider which parts of your inner dialogue are truly your own, and which were inherited? Being aware of these influences doesn't mean rejecting them all. But it's important to consciously choose which voices will shape who you ultimately become.
Your Call to Action:
Write down a list of all your beliefs, both positive and negative. Once you're done, go back over your list and ask yourself:
When did I first start believing this?
Quote of the Week:
We get to decide what we'll give to the world and what we'll take from it. Love big; Pack light.
- Bob Goff

What would you do if you knew you couldn't fail?
Strategic Question:
What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail?
Key Insights:
It's funny how our minds work - when we're facing a big decision, our first instinct is often to picture everything that could go wrong. And sure, thinking through risks and uncertainties is a healthy part of making choices. But when we spend all our energy planning for potential problems, we miss something equally important: the real possibilities of what could go right.
You don't have to choose between being careful and being hopeful. Bold moves are made where thoughtful planning meets genuine excitement about what's possible.
So while you're doing your due diligence, remember to make space for dreaming too.
Your Call to Action:
Write down one bold move you would take, then answer these questions:
Why does this matter to me?
What's holding me back?
Is it important enough to take the first step?
Quote of the Week:
Darling,
A beautiful thing is never perfect.

When was the last time you gave yourself the same grace you give others?
Strategic Question:
When was the last time you gave yourself the same grace you give others?
Key Insights:
Society’s expectations can be overwhelming, but the moment you realize you don’t have to be perfect to be worthy, everything changes.
True strength isn’t in never falling—it’s in how you rise, how you learn, and how you give yourself grace along the way.
So be kind to yourself.
Give yourself permission to stumble, to grow, to rest. Because you can’t pour from an empty cup. Take care of yourself first.
Your Call to Action:
Set aside at least 30 minutes of "me time" and during that time, make a list of all the positive (not perfect) things you did in last 24 hours.
Quote of the Week:
Let today be a day where you take nothing for granted. For life is fleeting, fragile and precious and can change on a whim. Say all the things you really want to say to your loved ones today, say the things you would regret should they pass on and your words remain unspoken. Rejoice, for you and they are alive today - and should you or them pass on to unknown shores, rejoice even more for you have a wonderful love story to tell.

Strategic Question:
If you could restart your career with the knowledge you have today, how would your definition of success change?
Key Insights:
Most of us start our careers chasing a version of success that we didn’t define for ourselves. We inherit ideas from family, society, and mentors, before we’ve had any real experiences of our own.
Your definition of success evolves with experience. Early in your career, success might mean promotions, pay raises, or notoriety. Later in your career success might mean fulfillment, impact, and autonomy.
Your Call to Action:
Write down your vision of success today. Are there any definitions of success you’re holding on to that don’t actually align with your true vision?
What one change can you make this week to align your life with what success really means to you now?
Quote of the Week:
Surround yourself with the dreamer and the doers, the believers and thinkers, but most of all, surround yourself with those who see the greatness within you, even when you don’t see it yourself.
- Edmund Lee

Strategic Question:
What changes might you be resisting because they challenge the way you see yourself?
Key Insights:
When was the last time you knew a change was necessary, but you resisted it?
We often resist change not because it’s impractical, but because it threatens how we see ourselves.
Here’s what I’ve learned about navigating change:
Your identity shapes your resistance. For example, if you see yourself as “independent,” you might resist asking for help.
Growth requires identity evolution; every breakthrough comes with an identity shift.
The best version of you isn’t static, it’s constantly evolving.
Your Call to Action:
This week, identify one area of your life where you’re feeling resistance, and answer the following questions to help you embrace change:
Am I feeling resistance because the change itself is wrong, or because it challenges my identity?
What’s the identity that I’m trying to hold on to?
What’s the opportunity-cost of you staying the same?
Quote of the Week:
The sun is up, the sky is blue
It’s beautiful, and so are you
- John Lennon

Strategic Question:
What do you want your life to look like in three years, and how is your current situation helping you move toward that vision?
Key Insights:
Life moves in distinct seasons. In some, you'll pour your energy into climbing the career ladder. In others, your heart will pull you toward family, seeking the freedom to be present for life's precious moments. There will be times to step forward as a leader, and times when supporting others from behind is exactly where you need to be.
The key is recognizing your current season and embracing it fully.
Your Call to Action:
Take time to reflect on what truly matters to you right now by answering these questions:
What season of life am I in right now?
When I think about my current priorities, what activities or relationships matter most?
Where am I spending my energy that doesn't align with what matters most to me?
What one change could I make this week to better honor my current priorities?
Make sure your most meaningful pursuits receive the attention and dedication they deserve.
Quote of the Week:
Every morning you rise I want you to remember this:
There are amazing things to be a part of, and fight for, and feel, because the world will unlock hundreds of doors when you give this day all the courage, love, and intensity you can.
- Victoria Erickson

Strategic Question:
Are you making it easy for your manager to help you succeed?
Key Insights:
While traditional workplace narratives emphasizes what managers should do for their teams, it's equally important for each of us to take responsibility for being easy to manage. Those who master this approach often find themselves receiving:
More frequent development opportunities because they've made their goals and challenges crystal clear
Better-tailored support since their manager understands exactly how to help them
Increased visibility for promotions due to consistent, documented progress
Stronger advocacy from their manager in critical career moments
Your Call to Action:
Most people operate based on their own preferences, expecting others to adapt. Instead, take a proactive approach in your next 1-on-1 with your manager by learning their preferences and tailoring your interactions accordingly:
Do they prefer meetings in the morning or afternoon?
Are there specific days they’d rather avoid 1-on-1s?
When sending status updates, do they appreciate detailed information or just the key points?
This is an easy first step to making yourself the most easy to manage person on the team.
Quote of the Week:
“Remember when you go into the world to keep your eyes and ears wide open.
And be kind.
Love one another.
Take care of each other.
Tell the truth.
Always do your best.
Listen to the big people and the little people.
Explore new paths and have fun.
Know that you are loved like crazy.
Give thanks for all your blessings.
Above all else, love and you will do wonderful things in this world.”
